Adam Air

Adam Air, with the main in Soekarno-Hatta International Airport , Jakarta is one of the privately owned airlines in Indonesia . It was earlier named as PT. Adam SkyConnection Airlines. The airlines offer the best services with good meals on board and also with low fares when compared to the other private airlines in Indonesia . Founded in the year 2002 by Mr Agung Laksono and Mr Agung Laksono who is a well established business man and politician in Indonesia , Adam Air started operating flights for the passengers in 2003 with 2 numbers of Boeings 737. The two flights were leased from GE Capital Aviation Services.

Adam Air operates flights to all the important destinations within Indonesia and also started operating international flights to Penang in Malaysia and to Singapore from 2005. At present Adam Air owns 15 flights comprising of 6 numbers of Boeing 737-200, 2 numbers of Boeing 737-300, 6 numbers of Boeing 737-400 and a Boeing 737-500. Recently in the year 2006, Adam Air has leased 6 numbers of Airbus A320 aircraft. In the current year the airlines has also placed orders for 24 Airbus A320 aircraft that will be delivered in the year 2007.
