| In the year 2005, October 29, Aer Lingus withdrew its last two Boeing 737 aircraft from its service. As per the agreement for a flotation of Aer Lingus on the Dublin stock market, Irish Government decided to stop Shannon stopover by the end of 2006 in stages. In the year 2006, September 27, the company came into conditional share dealings and officially admitted to the list of London and Irish stock exchange. During this time of the agreement the Irish government controlled 28% shareholding and employees were having 15%. |
