Air Arabia

Air Arabia is an airline company based in Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates. It is a low cost airline operating flights to the Middle East countries and also to the Indian Subcontinent. The airline hub of Air Arabia is based in the Sharjah International Airport. Though started in February 2003, the flight operations for the airlines started only in October 2003. Air Arabia has the pride of being the first budget airlines, started in the Middle East countries.

The airline operates flights to the Indian cities like Kochi, Mumbai, Jaipur and Nagpur. The future plan for the airlines is to start flight operations to more Indian cities and also to Pakistan and Cairo. It operates about 13 flights from Sharjah to Mumbai in a week. The flight used for operation is the Airbus A320. Air Arabia has a tie with Kingfisher airlines - an Indian based low cost airlines and operates flights for the regions where Air Arabia does not operate flights. At present, Air Arabia owns 7 Airbus A320-200 and has also purchased nearly 8 Airbus A320-200 in the 2006 year end. Air Arabia airlines offer cheap air travel to their passengers and have made all the business class to fly with their flights.
