Air Southwest

Air Southwest is an airline operating from the South Western region of England and is based in Plymouth City Airport in England. When the airline was started in January 2003, it was named as Placedean Technology Limited and later in March 2003, it was renamed as Mid South Aviation and finally in June 2003 it was named as Air South West Limited. The air southwest airline mainly concentrates on providing low cost airline service to South Wales and Southwest region of England, since the British Airways seized its operation from these regions. Operations of this airline started in October 2003

Another hub for the airline was established in Newquay in April 2005 to operate direct flights to Dublin. Airline services from Newquay to Manchester were introduced in April 2006 and also an aircraft base was established in Bristol . Operating about four flights a day from Newquay to London , the air southwest airline introduced its fifth flight in October 2006. About 90% of the airline's bookings are made online and the airline also offers the lowest and cheap ever flight charges to the passengers in England. Air Southwest owns about 5 Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 that has the capacity of 50 seats in total. The airline also has the pride of carrying over 750,000 passengers in October 2006. They also claim that their aircraft is the main reason for them to be able to offer low cost airlines to the passengers. The air southwest airline also has a good team of experienced persons who take care of the management of the airline.
