Air Philippines

Air Philippines is a cheap airline which is based in Pasay City of Philippines . The airline concentrates in offering low cost airline service to the passengers to Manila and Cebu . The airline has its base in Subic Bay International Airport and has a hub in Ninoy Aquino International Airport at Manila . Air Philippines was established in the year 1995 and started its flight operations in 1996 with Boeing 737-200. The aircrafts was flown between Iloilo and Zamboanga. Then with the delivery of about 6 NAMC YS-11, the airline started to carry more number of passengers in Philippines and became a reliable and comfortable carrier in Philippines.

Air Philippines started international flights to Hong Kong , USA , South Korea , Taiwan and Japan in March 1999 with the approval from the government. In 2001, the airline was delivered with two Boeing 737-300 aircrafts and the number of passengers that used the airline rose to 881,000 in 2002. Air Philippines currently owns 5 Boeing 737-222, 3 Boeing 737-2H4 and also 6 Boeing 737-2B7. The airline also owns 3 YS-11 aircraft but they are not used for the carriage of passengers and are kept in Manila.
